Passina has developed two refreshing products with baobab fruit pulp: Upside down juice and Upside down drink. Make sure you get to taste them!
A new flavour
The dried baobab pulp, which gained novel foods approval for the EU in June 2008, could be branded a new superfruit. Baobab is the fruit of the Adansonia digitata, a massive tree that grows up to 25 meters high throughout Africa, mostly in the hotter and drier areas. The tree is well known for its strange shape and is commonly referred to as ŽUpside down treeŽ.
Healthy and all natural
Baobab pulp has a long history of traditional medicinal use in Africa. Baobab is best known for its high levels of vitamin C, carbohydrates, calcium, potassium, pectins, vitamins B-1 & B-3 and has a significant anti-oxidant content. What people may not know is that Baobab fruit pulp is completely created, dehydrated and stabilised by nature.
